Over the past 2 going into 3 years of being apart of this mentorship program my life has done a complete one eighty for the better! Before I lacked a lot of purpose not knowing what to make of myself and spent a lot of my time partying my short comings away. Since gaining mentorship I can say from the bottom of my heart the man I’ve become is someone I’m truly proud of and the character I’ve developed holistically has made me a better son, partner and friend and pulled me away from potential negative environments. I’ve been apart of the United Vision mentorship program for close to 5-years now. Before the mentorship program I lacked purpose and direction, but now I have so much clarity on the impact I thrive to make and the legacy I plan to leave. The mentorship program has helped me immensely. It has helped me secure a corporate job in sales that not only improves my communication skills and gives me a lot of life experience, but also offers great pathways for career development (not that I will need it 😉). In terms of my personal life, I have seen a complete transformation, from being a party animal to becoming a curious student. It has allowed me to develop friendships from which I will be forever learning.

One memorable moment has got to be my first conference in Melbourne when I had the chance to speak with the main speaker. While speaking with him, I realized that he was just as human as me and suddenly got an immense feeling of self-belief that if he can do it, so can I, of course with guidance.

This community would be a speed boost in a game. It doesn’t necessarily make the journey any shorter, but with the guidance of my mentors and sharpening my sword against iron with the friends I have made, it increases the rate at which I can reach my goals.

Being a big dreamer, I realised quickly that nursing wasn't the vision of life I had imagined. But alone I found it hard to pursue success ventures to help my family. That was until I found a mentor who believed in me and a big support community who I could grow myself with, and be guided to build a business aligned with me. 

It's been a blessing to have earned this space and I've even met some of my best friends who share the same values and goals of making a difference, having financial choices to prioritise our time, health, our relationship, family, travel and purpose over the rat race grind. I've also become a better version of myself than I could have thought possible and I'm just getting warmed up! I'm so grateful and look forward to even more holistic success achievements to come and to pay it forward in many more ways!! ❤🙏🏼

 The mentoring program has really enabled my personal and professional growth in all aspects of my life. 

Coming in at 21 and not having a clear path, the program has helped me create a focus for my life and mainly developing key skills, such as communication, budgeting and leadership skills. I have learnt more within the program than I could have within a 20 year career around key concepts on leadership and building relationships within a busy world.
